After more than ten years with the Social Enterprise Fund, we are saying goodbye to a colleague who has been at the heart of our operations for many years.
For over a decade, Gail Yakemchuk has been the person who kept SEF running smoothly behind the scenes. From coordinating loan disbursements to ensuring payments and communications were handled efficiently, Gail’s attention to detail and dedication ensured that our clients were always supported — often before they even realized they needed help.
Many of our borrowers, partners, and collaborators have connected with Gail over the years, and they know how deeply she cared about making things work seamlessly. Her professionalism, humour, and reliability have been a constant presence through SEF’s growth and evolution.
The SEF team will miss Gail’s steady hand and generous spirit, but we’re grateful for the time, energy, and care she’s poured into this organization. She leaves behind a strong foundation that will continue to benefit our clients and community for years to come.
From all of us at SEF — thank you, Gail, for everything you’ve done to make this work possible!
