Want to know more about Community Economic Development? Here is a great place to start:
The Social Enterprise Fund is proud to be part of a new Canadian association of impact investment organizations, the National Impact Investment Practitioners. One of NIIP’s first projects is Eight Tracks: Impact Investing in Canadian Communities. The study looks at the different approaches to using money for community good, and includes a chapter on SEF. Enjoy!
Please enjoy these editions of Portfolio, a look at SEF’s current clients.
The Edmonton Community Foundation’s magazine, Legacy in Action, recently published a great piece on the work of SEF. Maybe this will spark an idea of how SEF might work for you.
SEF’s efforts have been recognized in a study of impact investing through community foundations published by the Democracy Collective.
